BARASTOC HORSE OF THE YEAR 2007

Our final show for the 2006/2007 Season was Barastoc horse of the year.

Our wonderful gelding "Montrose Etched in Silk" did not disappoint and was declared

"Champion Junior Part Bred Welsh in Hand"

Then went on to be declared

"Supreme part Bred Welsh Exhibit"

under UK Judge Wendy Burt.

MARCH 2008

We finally have some show news to report!!!

Over the easter long weekend, we attended our first show for the 2007/2008 season. The 2008 Diamond Show Case.

And we are pleased to report that our Anglo Colt 'Grand Finale' was awarded Best Anglo/arabain warmblood foal of show.

With the foal shows underway we attended the Heathcote Foal show on the 13th April with Montrose Touch of Silk.

On Sunday we attended the WPCS NEB Foal show at Tatura, again with Montrose Touch of Silk.

We had another fantastic show with Budgie being awarded

Champion Part Welsh Colt

He then went onto be awarded Supreme Champion PW Exhibit in Ring one under judge

Grand-Finale was won his Anglo Male Foal class, and went on to be awarded reserve Champion Anglo Foal under judge Christian Rebsdorf (QLD)

August Update 2008

Grand-Finale our Anglo Colt has been sold to a lovely new home in NSW, we wish Robert and Adrian all the best with Jimmy.

Montrose Etched in Silk is currently in work with Rebecca Farran and working well. He will finally get to make his first newcomer saddle debut in September.

We will have the following foals on the ground shortly they are as follows.

Crown Sable (TB) x Lemonshill Top Note (UK)

Montrose Royal Ambition x Ascot Classic Silk.

We made the very long trip to Hay over the weekend and Montrose Etched in Silk had another great show going

Champion Galloway in the first ring under judge M.Templeton.

And overall Champion Led Open Breeds exhibit.
